In this outdoor yoga series, we surround ourselves with the calming and centering presence of horses. We combine the slow, practiced movements and poses of yoga and explore the five elements – earth, water, fire, air and ether and we look at how reconnecting to nature outside of us can help us reconnect to our true, inner nature. Stepping out into a natural space combined with the healing benefits of yoga has been shown to dramatically improve wellbeing, lowering blood pressure, boosting the immune system, improving mental health and enhancing longevity.
When we spend more time outside in the elements, we start to rebalance ourselves physically, mentally and energetically. Horses can help individuals find that sense of peace. This is an all levels yoga practice combining Hatha Yoga, breathwork, meditation and Ayurvedic theory led by Kat Gregory. No horse experience necessary, optional time to interact with the horses following practice.
